Food Service Assistant/Pca (Dual Role) (Must Be In Tas)

Cadorna House are seeking a Food Services Assistant and PCA for a dual role.
Experience is preferred but not mandatory.
The hours will vary, starting at 20 per fortnight with the ability to pick up additional shifts.
Wage to be discussed based on experience and qualifications.
Our desired applicant will already be living in Tasmania.
Main Responsibilities: FSA Food preparation such as salads, simple desserts and sandwiches, heating, serving, presentation and delivery of meals, snacks and drinks in accordance with the Food Safety Program (FSP), menu, recipes and individual consumer's needs and preferences and relevant Duty Statement/s. Correct preparation of texture-modified foods and thickened fluids. Collection and washing of used dishes and other items. Cleaning according to the cleaning schedule. Assisting with the monitoring and recording requirements of the Food Safety Program for example, recording temperatures, signing the cleaning schedule when cleaning is completed, documenting the receival of goods. Ensures the dining room and table settings are set according to the seating planner and in a way that contributes to an enjoyable dining experience. Contributes to menu planning to meet consumer needs and preferences. Main Responsibilities: PCA Contributes to the efficient utilisation of resources for safe and quality care. Consistently delivers safe, quality consumer-centred care that supports consumers' health, safety and well-being and is inclusive of their identity, culture, and diversity. Implements and monitors Consumer Risk Management Plans to support consumers to take risks to enable them to live the best life they can. Timely and appropriate communication with the supervisory nurse; when exceptions to consumer care plans occur, if a consumer's health status rapidly declines or where a consumer's safety is compromised. Ensures timely and appropriate action in response to incidents, comments and complaints including timely and appropriate communication with the team leader or supervisory nurse. Completes accurate documentation for consumer care including charting and reporting in the progress notes, incident reports. Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour
