About Food Services Our Food Services department is responsible for providing all patient meals. Our aim is to ensure that our meals are safe, appropriate for our patient's needs and served with care.
About the role An opportunity exists to join our team of Menu Monitors, involving a range of tasks including:
Menu data entry and orderingFood safety checksSupervising patient meal serviceMaintaining ward food suppliesAdministrative and quality activitiesThis part time Menu Monitor role offers three shifts per week, including some weekends and both early (06:30 - 15:00) and late (10:30 - 19:00) shifts. There may be additional shifts offered to cover staff leave.
About you To be successful within this role, you will need to have:
Food service experience in health or hospitalityFlexibility in working hoursIntermediate computer skills, including ability to manage word documents, excel spreadsheets and emailAbility to work without supervision as well as part of a teamAbility to understand the needs of patients from diverse social, religious and cultural backgroundsHigh level of written and verbal communication skills across multiple levels of an organizationInclusion and belonging The Women's celebrates, values and supports a diverse and inclusive environment which reflects our vibrant community.
