We are after experienced Floor Attendants to join our talented team in our beautiful palm-filled Newcastle venue.
POSITION SUMMARYThe Floor attendant is responsible of all elements of Front of house service. The Floor attendant is in charge of Customer service & sections, following Light Years sequence of service, food & beverage quality control and teamwork.

Ensure updated checklists are displayed in designated areas at all times;Customer Complaints – Handle all customer complaints when working on shift and improve customer experience in-store. Always communicate with your manager about a customer complaint and take guidance on how to deal with the situation. All customer complaints must be communicated with the manager on shift.Wine service – Learning wine service and basic wine knowledge.Opening & Closing the Venue – Present Venue in accordance with VM, correct lighting, music control, cleanliness, uniforms, and all table presentation.Deep Clean – Fortnightly deep clean of FOH & BOH to be run by Restaurant Managers.Food & Beverage knowledge – must attend all training or group training to ensure knowledge of the menu is developed to full ability.Teamwork – Working with your team to create a fun and happy environment in-house & with all staff.
