Discover the OpportunityWe are looking for a qualified Flexographic printer to join the Opal Cartons manufacturing team based in Banksmeadow on a full-time, ongoing basis. The site operates 24 hours per day, 5 days per week (Monday – Friday), and the successful candidate will be working on rotating 12-hour shifts.
You will contribute to the success of Opal by:
Producing printed carton products on large format printersSetting up, production run and shut down sequences of the Flexographic operations in accordance with the daily schedule and within set commercial parameters.Reading, interpreting and communicating the job requirements and tasks.Maintaining a clean and well-organised workspaceCommunicating with other team members and team leadersPerforming quality checks & operating machinery in a safe mannerWorking efficiently to achieve production targetsDiscover YourselfWe are able to offer a varied career journey with experiential learning gained from cross-functional and lateral moves. Specifically for this role, we are ideally looking for:
Experience in using flexo-printers and multi-colour printersThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication, numeracy and problem-solving skillsExperience within a manufacturing environment is preferableA strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.Applications are open to both internal and external candidates.
