Job Overview Join the Jensen Hughes team as a fire safety consultant and help protect lives and properties through your engineering skills!
As an engineering consultant, you will provide advice and recommendations on the fire safety of building projects, working with clients to understand their problems and develop practical solutions.
Responsibilities Undertake fire safety engineering analysis, fire and evacuation modelling, risk assessment, and site visits/inspections under supervision.Prepare reports.Liaise with clients, design teams, fire brigades, and approval authorities.Participate in site and final inspections.Contribute positively to a productive team environment, consistent with Jensen Hughes values.Requirements and Qualifications University engineering undergraduate degree or higher.Experience in a fire safety engineering consultancy environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to write clear and concise reports.Ability to work within a team environment.Experience and knowledge of the National Construction Code – Building Code of Australia is an advantage.Knowledge of computer-based fire and evacuation models is an advantage.Must be an Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident or hold a valid Work Visa in Australia.Why you should join Jensen Hughes Our company culture fosters camaraderie and collaboration.
