5:2 roster 3-6 month contract Perth-Based About the Role: WorkPac is currently in search of a Financial Planner to join our esteemed client's team based in Perth. This position is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week for 3 to 6 months with potential to extend. Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in planning and prioritising activities. Collaborate with the financial accounting team on cash flow projections. Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to offer data-driven insights into the business. Analyse risks, impacts, and mitigation strategies. Identify and support profit improvement initiatives by aiding in delivery and driving results. Offer strategic recommendations to enhance financial performance and explore commercial opportunities. Execute routine reporting on financial and non-financial metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Skills and Experience: Proficiency in Pronto software. Familiarity with Power BI is advantageous, though not required. Ideally, exposure to Site (Mining) management accounting and/or business analysis roles, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of relevant data. Suitable for an individual highly focused on data, with less emphasis on strong communication skills. Preference for candidates with mining industry experience. Daily tasks involve modelling variable and fixed costs, assessing sensitivities in mine planning, creating graphical representations of data, transforming data into actionable insights, and conducting trend analysis and variance assessments.
