An established International Business in the manufacturing and distribution industry is seeking a talented Financial Controller to join their growing team.Reporting to the Managing Director and part of the leadership team, you will provide data analysis and financial insights that enable better decision-making and profitable growth.Key Responsibility Areas:Oversee financial reporting, including budgets, variance analysis, and statutory compliance.Streamline financial and ERP systems for efficiency and accuracy.Provide strategic advice on cash flow, debt management, and cost analysis.Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and ensure timely reconciliations.Lead by example, fostering a positive, safe, and collaborative work environment with 3 direct reports.Set objectives for team members aligned with business goals and mentor them to achieve results.Develop and implement continuous improvement plans to mitigate risks across the business.Collaborate on policy development for quoting, payroll, and operational efficiencies.Support grant reviews and submissions in partnership with the Managing Director.Analyse and report on the financial impacts of non-conforming products and customer complaints.To be successful in this role you will have:5+ years of advanced accounting experience in a medium-sized business, including BAS and income tax administration.Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, or commerce, with CA qualification in progress or completed, are desirable.Proficient in ERP systems including MYOB, Navision, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all business areas.Professional and courteous demeanour when interacting with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.Demonstrated ability to handle confidential company information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.Role Benefits:Competitive salary and outstanding career growth opportunity with a pathway into a CFO role.Be part of an International Business located in Adelaide SA.Flexible work arrangements, including Hybrid working model.Onsite parking available.Potential opportunity for overseas travel post 12 months in position.Enjoy working with a small, dynamic, and supportive team.Sound like you?If you'd like to learn more, don't hesitate to reach out to Anthony at .
