Provide the overall direction to the Business Private Banking and Merchant Services leadership team to ensure development and delivery of objectives and initiatives within the strategic parameters.Support the Executives in partnership with the Finance Leadership team , to grow the business, align with our strategic ambition and ensure transformation / simplification benefits are achieved in a sustainable and coordinated manner. Deliver monthly reporting, understand the performance drivers and provide key reasons for variance from plan and prior reporting periods.Identify financial and non-financial performance trends through critical review and analysis and develop and recommend strategies to improve business performance.Create insights to assist the business in understanding plan changes and options to meet plan.Collaborate to ensure simplification by ensuring all standard reporting and financial control activities are delivered in a one-way same way approach across Finance.Support the NAB Group's financial accounting, controlling, forecasting, planning and reporting process for the relevant business unit.Measure of success in role is achieved through understanding and interpreting financial and non-financial results, business drivers and trends, to enable better understanding of business performance and drive stronger business decision making.Your Capabilities, Experience & Qualifications will include:Stakeholder management expertise where you can constructively challenge management's proposals and decisions in relation to the performance of the relevant Business Unit.Years of experience in Finance/Financial Services.Tertiary qualification in Commerce/Business/Finance. CA/CPA preferable.Capability to work in a fast-paced, at times ambiguous and complex environment.Data and business intelligence, including advanced Excel skills and ideally some exposure to PowerBI.Good understanding of process, risk and controls on reporting and analysis.Experience across a range of Finance disciplines including partnering divisions, corporate centre planning and reporting and financial control roles.Process improvement capability in both identification and successful implementation of process re-engineering initiatives.A diverse and inclusive workplace works better for everyoneWe know that our people make us who we are.
