Finance Officer Limited Tenure: Parental Leave Part-time: 35.72 hours per week Commencing: December 2024 (Negotiable) – 26th September 2025 As a Finance Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of the school's financial operations.
This part-time position will assist the Principal with the financial management of the school and be required to demonstrate: Effectiveness in financial and accounting functions (including accounts payable, accounts receivable and end of month procedures) Experience in preparing and analysis of budget and monthly financial reports Ability to follow specified policies, procedures and internal control and audit processes Experience in maintaining personnel records and payroll system for staff Proficiency in the use of computerised processing and commercial finance systems Strong time management and organisational abilities in an office environment Ability to work cooperatively within a wider team environment Commitment to personal and team effectiveness Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2018.
