Facilitator - Language, Literacy, Numeracy Programs

STEPS Group is a national Not for Profit organisation passionate about empowering individuals and communities through their commitment to make a difference by providing opportunity.The Alice Springs site is constantly growing. We are looking for Facilitators to work onsite and out in the community to deliver interactive, hands on and engaging Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital skills (LLND) training to adult learners whilst they are on their journey to further their education and employment pathway.This will be a casual position and we are open to Facilitators looking for either full time or part time hours - whichever you prefer!The Position:As a Facilitator, your responsibilities will include:Delivering engaging and contextualised language, literacy and numeracy training.Using creative techniques to keep participants interested and motivated.Adjusting training materials to fit participants' needs.Tracking and supporting participants' learning and development.Ensuring an inclusive and energetic learning atmosphere.Working with local community organisations, employers and providers to ensure effective training.The Successful Applicant:To be considered for this opportunity you must meet the following criteria:Hold a qualification in Education and/or Teaching.At least 100 hours of facilitation/teaching experience.Have experience with facilitating training programs and adapting resources to fit learner needs.An understanding of and respect for diversity and Indigenous Australian culture and customs.The ability to complete a National Police Check and hold a current Driver Licence.STEPS Group is an equal opportunity employer.Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders are encouraged to apply.Only applicants with the right to work in Australia will be considered for this role.#J-18808-Ljbffr
