Account(able) Accountants is an accounting firm located in Bacchus Marsh providing accounting, taxation, and business advisory services to a diverse range of SME Business and SMSF clients.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an energetic self-motivated individual with public practice experience to join our team as a Senior Accountant.
Join our friendly team, working closely with three company directors and a team of six accountants and two bookkeepers.
This is a permanent full-time role located in our Bacchus Marsh Office.

You will have an in-depth taxation knowledge, excellent people skills, and the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally with a range of clients.
Attending to the accounting requirements for our clients including preparation of financial statements, tax returns, BAS & IAS statements, budgets, business plans, and advisory.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of Tax Returns and/or Financial Statements for Individuals, Companies, and Trusts.
Provision of business advisory services.
Preparation and interpretation of management reports, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting.
Maintaining and developing client relationships.
Assisting clients with tax compliance and identifying business services opportunities.
Assist clients in preparing BAS, IAS, and PAYG ATO requirements; and provide proactive advice.
Mentoring and supervising graduates.
Other responsibilities as required.
Skill & Experience:
3 years + Australian taxation and business services experience.
CA/CPA qualified (or currently completing).
Experience in public practice, tax, and accounting.
Experience with XERO & XPM is highly desirable.
Strong working knowledge of accounting standards, best practice, and demonstrated ability to meet tight time frames.
Great communication skills – written and verbal.
