While Paspaley's core business is pearling, it also has extensive interests in ship maintenance and engineering, mixed agriculture, wine, aviation, hospitality, resort accommodation, and commercial property.A once in a lifetime opportunity exists in Darwin NT at Paspaley, for an exceptional and experienced Personal / Executive Assistant to seamlessly assist in the provision of high standard administrative and secretarial support to the Group's Executive Director and, at times, other Senior Executives.This role requires a highly motivated and energetic person with a mature thought process and logical and flexible disposition, who can utilise their experienced outlook and exceptional communication skills to achieve the required outcome.Your responsibilities will include:Extensive diary/calendar management and complex travel coordination for both domestic and international jurisdictions.Sorting, initiating, and drafting internal and external correspondence ready for imparting.Answering and screening incoming calls and email correspondence and directing to the appropriate person or department.Coordinating and organising domestic and international meetings and providing administration support to international visitors and stakeholders.Active support for the Executive Director and liaison with Senior Executives, Business Unit Managers, and external contacts.Support with the coordination of Monthly and Quarterly Board meetings, including agenda preparation, taking minutes, and meeting support.General administrative duties such as filing, scanning documents, and faxing.The ideal candidate must have a non-compromising approach, an understanding of respect and the requirements surrounding confidentiality, a strong work ethic with a "can do" attitude, a high level of administrative skill (advanced in Microsoft Suite), a keen eye for detail, present professionally, and be obsessively organised with the ability to prioritise and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.As well as the above, we want someone with a sense of humour who is self-aware and tuned into situations around them.In return, Paspaley will offer an exciting secure employment opportunity in the tropical paradise of Darwin, where no two days will ever be the same, and an attractive salary based on experience.You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident with full rights to work and reside in Australia.Applications close on 10 January 2025.
