We ensure diversity is celebrated for the opportunity it provides us all to learn and grow and deliver better outcomes for members.Your New RoleThe Chief Executive's Executive Assistant provides professional administration support to the Chief Executive and Chair and works closely with the Board's Executive Assistant.
This role establishes and maintains effective relationships with the Chief Executive and senior leaders to ensure all administrative matters are managed efficiently.Key duties include but are not limited to: Provide a high level of effective and confidential administrative management support to the Chief Executive and the Chair, including diary and email management.Manage travel arrangements for the Chief Executive and Chair.Assist in managing the expectations of internal and external stakeholders who require the Chief Executive's time.Develop and maintain strong processes to deliver outcomes accurately and on time.Ensure working relationships, internal and external are built and maintained in a positive and cooperative manner, to ensure a positive and cohesive environment through which workflow efficiency and sharing of information / knowledge is maximised.Support the Head of the Chair and Chief Executive's Office with the preparation, formatting and editing of correspondence, papers, presentations and reports (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for the Chief Executive and the Chair.Monitor briefing requests for the Chief Executive and Chair across the organisation.Work closely with the Board's Executive Assistant to support Board and committee meetings as required.What You'll NeedExtensive previous experience in a similar role in a large financial services or professional services environment is required in this role.Relevant professional qualifications & skills with strong focus on diary & email management and travel arrangements is essential.Strong competency in the execution and understanding of Microsoft Office applications in particular Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and experience with Diligent, Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Dynamics.Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, set and manage multiple conflicting priorities and meet specified timeframes.An ability to coordinate tasks and operate independently.Strong stakeholder relationship skills including the proven ability to initiate, maintain and develop relationships with peers, with the objective of gaining cooperation and meeting timelines for the delivery of advice.Excellent written and oral communication skills; including proven experience in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues and ability to develop and maintain rapport across all organisational levels.Life at AustralianSuperAustralianSuper is committed to colleague development, and we support our people with ongoing learning, coaching and training, as well as career opportunities across our expanding global organisation.
