With 3 offices nationally, this group leverages strong relationships with a plethora of institutional blue-chip property clients including property developers, property funds, landlords, retail & hotel brands, healthcare providers, universities, and private sector tenant clients.
The Role:
As Estimator you will be involved in managing multiple tenders concurrently end-to-end, assisting the respective QLD Preconstruction, Estimating and Design Managers.
You will also be heavily involved throughout the associated strategic preconstruction functions, taking part during the estimating, tender, D&C, ECI, and overall preconstruction phases.
Operating in a client-facing capacity, you will take part in project pitches, tender interviews and contract negotiations, inline with securing projects and potential new work opportunities.
Given the D&C nature of their work, there will be a high level of collaboration between the respective Client Strategy/Business, Preconstruction, Design and Project Delivery Teams nationally.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assisting with the QLD Preconstruction and Estimating functions, including ECI, D&C and tender processes Manage key project stakeholders, including clients, consultants and subcontractors Write and review submission material to ensure that the client's specfic project requirements/criteria have been met Interpret, understand and execute head contracts - mitigating contractual risk Take part during strategic client engagement functions inline with establishing/maintaining relationships and securing new work Qualifications and Requirements:
Have demonstrated experience pricing, estimating and tendering fitout and refurbishment projects valued up to 2mil - with a focus commercial D&C/interiors projects Have an understanding of the technical design/D&C and fitout/refurb/live environement mentodologies, as well as client engagement/stakeholder management functions If it sounds like you are well suited for this role, please click "apply now".
