We have proudly served the Forest Lake community since 1994, and continue to excel in providing a personalised approach to the needs of our students and their families.About the RoleThis role is an important member of our Executive Leadership Team and will report directly to the Principal.
As the Deputy Principal, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:Strong curriculum knowledge and experience leading middle leaders and teaching staff to align curriculum, assessment, pedagogy, and moderation for improved learning outcomes.Skilled in enhancing teacher pedagogy for excellence in teaching, student learning, and wellbeing.Demonstrates high-quality instructional leadership, leading teams in collaborative problem-solving, teacher development (especially for early-career teachers), collegial engagement visits, and tracking key student progress.Engages families in their child's learning and wellbeing.Fosters positive relationships and wellbeing, ensuring safety, respect, and belonging within the community.Highly visible in classrooms, leading daily operations, managing student behaviour, and coordinating key school events.Please refer to the attached role description for any mandatory requirements for this position.Interested?
