AHP3 ($102,641 - $110,094 p.a. + 11% Super) / PO3 ($99,788 - $105,495 p.a. + 11% Super) EXPRESSION OF INTEREST – 6 Months, FNFW Supervisor Would you like to enhance your skills working with Aboriginal families in a regional and remote setting?
The Far North Far West Directorate is looking for an experienced metro-based practitioner to fill a Supervisor role in Port Lincoln.
The Opportunity FIFO 5 days a week, with consideration for working from Flinders St Ground Floor for 1 day with 4 days on site. Travel back to Adelaide for the weekend to catch up with family and friends.
We are looking for someone with lots of energy and a passion for driving quality practice and supporting less-experienced colleagues to develop their practice skills and confidence.
With no two days the same, we will support you to:

Special Conditions Essential: AHP: A degree level qualification in Social Work which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
PO:  Appropriate degree qualification in Community Services, Social Sciences, Human Services, Health or related field.
Persons of Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent, who have the appropriate background and skills but do not have the essential qualification, may apply for and be engaged/assigned to the role of Social Worker and will be entitled to apply for any Allied Health Professional roles requiring a qualification in Social Work within the Department for Child Protection (DCP). The Region Port Lincoln is located 647 km from Adelaide and takes approximately 7 hours to drive. P ort Lincoln is situated on Boston Bay, one of the largest protected natural harbours in the world three times the size of Sydney Harbour.
The Port Lincoln office is situated on the township foreshore within the metro precinct and employs approximately 20 people. As a member of this team you will work with other professionals to deliver services to Port Lincoln Community. As a member of this team, you will also work with and develop strong partnerships with other internal and external partners, many of which will be located within the community.
