As a natural relationship builder, you will influence Project Managers and external stakeholders to achieve continual environmental improvement, using your excellent communication skills and strong technical expertise to: Manage the sustainability and environmental aspects and impacts on site in line with best practice principles, and assist in the achievement of organisational and project objectives.
Ensure compliance with the Project Environmental Management Plan and company Environmental Policy and promote a positive sustainability and environmental culture, leading by example and setting best practice standards as 'business as usual'.
Ensure compliance with contractual environmental specifications and environmental legislation, environmental approvals and other relevant stakeholder requirements of the project.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter with: Degree or equivalent tertiary qualification in Environmental Science/ Engineering 4+ years in civil construction in environmental management Prior experience on major infrastructure projects (Transport, Water, Defence) highly regarded For more about us, head to www.bmd.com.au .
