CITIC Pacific Mining is seeking an Environmental Advisor to join our site-based Enviro team located at our Sino Iron operation, Cape Preston. This permanent position is offered on a lifestyle friendly 8/6 roster, FIFO from Perth.
Working in this close-knit team, you'll provide support to operations in developing, implementing, and advancing environmental management processes and systems while also providing advice, implementing, and monitoring all environmental requirements and obligations to ensure compliance with all approvals and legislative requirements.
Key responsibilities Provision of advice and support to address environmental issues and to facilitate compliance with environmental approvals, obligations, environmental licenses, and tenement conditions.Implementation and operation of environmental monitoring programs.Assist in the implementation of the operational environmental management system.Support corporate level liaison with government regulators on permitting, licensing & compliance issues.Conduct annual reporting in accordance with relevant licenses and approvals.About you Bachelor's degree or equivalent in environmental management, environmental science, or a related discipline.Previous experience working on environment projects within the mining or resources sector.Experience with environmental monitoring and data management.Environmental auditor qualification will be highly regarded.Ability to obtain Maritime Security Identification Card.What we offer Competitive remuneration packages.Life and salary continuance insurance.Access to the Alliance Airlines Lounge.To Apply Shortlisting for this position will commence immediately.We reserve the right to close the position earlier than stated.Candidates represented by agencies will not be considered for this position.Internal applicants please note it is a requirement that you advise your immediate line manager of the application.As an employee of CPM, you will be part of a culturally and gender diverse organisation, committed to providing equal opportunities for all staff.
