Our Engineering division designs and constructs manufacturing facilities, refurbishes existing facilities and designs and constructs automation plant for manufacturing plants and warehouses.We are currently seeking an experienced qualified Electrician with industrial and commercial experience to join our team based in Mount Gambier.Whilst working within the Electrical team you will be exposed to multiple disciplines throughout the electrical trade including but not limited to Commercial, Industrial, Maintenance, Robotics, Electrical Design, Programming and Troubleshooting.To be considered for this role you will be able to meet the following essential selection criteria:Relevant trade qualificationA current SA Driving LicenceCurrent SA Construction Induction CardAble to interpret electrical schematics and controlsGood knowledge of AS3000 and be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge in all facets of electrical work and a firm commitment to safe work practicesAbility to liaise with builders, foremen and project managers during contract worksProven ability to work effectively within a team as well as independentlyAbility to adapt to a constant changing work environment and schedulingTakes pride in their work and completing projects to the highest of standardsWillingness to train apprentices with a positive attitude to ensure they become the best tradesman The following qualifications are not essential but will be highly regarded in the selection process:Elevated Work Platform LicenceConfined SpaceEmergency First Aid / CPRWorking at HeightsLow Voltage Release and RescueIndustrial / PLC experience This is a full-time permanent position within our Electrical team. To be successful in this role you must be self-motivated and be willing to put in the work needed to complete jobs in a timely manner.
