Electrical Project Engineer | LV Services | Major Project Job details Posted 16 April 2024 LocationBrisbane Job type Sectors CGC Cover Reference3771056 Job description CGC Recruitment have partnered with a long standing client Nationally who are at the forefront of the infrastructure boom in QLD and deliver major projects across a number of sectors including Roads, Rail, Defence and Resources. They are currently involve in the delivery of one of Brisbane's most iconic infrastructure projects of the last 20 years and due to peak periods of construction have identified the need for an Electrical Project Engineer to join the business on a full time basis. The position will report into the M&E Project Manager and will involve day to day Project Engineering duties in addition to mentoring Junior Engineers. Key responsibilities include: - Review Design constructability across projects as required- Implementation of Subcontractor/s to deliver works - Documentation/Execution of Subcontracts in Conjunction of Procurement- Implementation, Monitoring, Delivery of QA documentation and liaison with stakeholders for approval.- Site Monitoring of site works across projects to ensure construction compliance with design and standard.- Testing and Commissioning HV/LV Systems as required We are actively looking to speak to tertiary qualified electrical engineers who have a proven background in the design and delivery of Electrical Construction projects in a building environment. Additionally applicants must demonstrate a strong level of experience in providing electrical engineering support including functional specification development, design coordination, safety in design, constructibility reviews, testing and commissioning and applying engineering quality.
