Randstad is currently working with an industry leading organization which delivers major construction projects domestically and internationally, it has a fantastic reputation in the industry and has exceptional relationships with its clients.Many of the projects are set in remote locations and have strict quality and completion targets that must be met.With a current project pipeline of over $150 million of work in hand, this organization is growing rapidly and is expected to be awarded more projects in 2024.As a result, it is looking to source an Electrical Design Engineer to produce designs for LV building services and sign off on the designs that are produced by engineering consultancies.Key Responsibilties include: Design and develop electrical systems and schematics tailored to construction projects.Assist the procurement, installation and commissioning of electrical systems on site, ensuring they meet project specifications and Australian Standards.Assist in ensuring quality of works during installation of electrical systems on site.Ensure all electrical installations comply with Australian local, state, and federal regulations, industry safety standards and project specifications.Work closely with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to align electrical systems with overall project goals Suitable candidate will be expected to have the the following skills and experience: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (accredited by Engineers Australia if acquired overseas).Accredited to sign off on electrical design.Eligible to register on State electrical engineering register e.g., RPEQ.Minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical design engineering in Australia.Proficient in using industry-standard software like AutoCAD software and other electrical design tools e.g., PowerCad.Revit proficiency is preferred.Strong understanding of the latest electrical standards and safety regulations in Australia.This organisation has a diverse loyal tenured team that has grown significantly over the past few years, internal promotions are encouraged and it has high staff retention.This positions offers a fantastic opportunity to work on exciting projects for a company that is going through a period of positive change.This role is available for an immediate start with the possibility to be based out of either one of their two Sydney offices (with some WFH offered).Detailed job descriptions, along with accurate information on the salary and benefits packages on offer for this position can be provided.Candidates must have full Australian work rights to be considered for this role.Randstad has entered into an exclusive collaborative arrangement with this organisation and quick feedback will be provided.At Randstad, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.We actively encourage applications from any background.
