Ensure that all necessary resources, materials, and personnel are available and scheduled appropriately. Serve as a central point of contact for all stakeholders involved in mine electrical work, including maintenance teams, mine schedulers, and management. Facilitate effective communication between different departments to address issues or changes in the outage plan. Collaborate with engineering teams to assess current network capacity and identify areas for expansion. Conduct feasibility studies to assess the technical, financial, and operational aspects of proposed electrical network extensions. Provide recommendations based on the analysis to support decision-making processes. Stay up to date with relevant electrical regulations, codes, and industry standards to ensure that all network extension plans comply with legal and safety requirements. Coordinate with regulatory bodies to obtain necessary approvals for proposed network expansions. Collaborate with project management teams to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for electrical network extension projects. Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including engineering teams, regulatory agencies, and mine operators, to communicate plans, address concerns, and gather input for network extension projects. Identify potential risks associated with electrical network extension projects and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to operations. About YouTrade qualified (preferred). Experience in coordinating and managing mining electrical work. Familiar with mining and maintenance processes to effectively plan, execute, and document electrical activities. Ability to coordinate and prioritise tasks, resources and timelines efficiently. Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination with various stakeholders. Proficiency with available software and tools to coordinate future work. Current C Class manual driver's licence.
