As our Postie based in Darra QLD, you'll be operating and delivering on our 3-Wheeled Electric Delivery Vehicles as the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting Australians every single day.
You might not be working from home, but you'll be working autonomously out on-the-road, interacting with others and being a team player.
You'll be:Starting your day early in the morning, sorting mail and small parcels with your teammates at the facilityCompleting your own daily vehicle safety checkLoading your vehicle with your deliveries for the dayDelivering outdoors in all types of weather to deliver to homes and businessesPaired up with our experienced Rider Mentors, who are committed to engage and take part in your professional developmentAbout you:You hold a full or probationary QLD drivers licence with a good driving historyOn employment, you'll need to successfully pass our mandatory vehicle training and assessmentYou are flexible with finishing times and working additional hours if requiredYou have a good memory, great hand/eye coordination, and excellent attention to detail for when sorting mailYou enjoy physical work indoors and outdoors and can lift up to 16kgs of Mail and Parcels regularlyYou will need to meet our safe working vehicle load limit of weighing under 120kgs fully clothed (including helmet)How we'll deliver for you:Post probationary $ (after 3 months training rate) is $30.93 base per hour plus additional 15% shift penalties and 12% superannuationWe invest in you for the long-term, encouraging growth through delivering on our values of Trust, Inclusivity, Empowerment and SafetyBe part of a culture where everybody feels they belong, are valued and can bring their authentic self to work every dayWe invest in your personal well-being, recognise and reward you for your contribution to our success with Post Perks and moreWe're delivering together At Australia Post, we acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we operate, live and gather as employees.
