El 1 - Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

EL 1 - Senior Business Intelligence Analyst The Data Visualisation and Reporting Services section and Analytics Hub section sit within the Data and Evaluation Group and are responsible for enabling staff and stakeholders to interrogate the department's rich data stores in an accessible and consistent manner that minimises the requirement for specialist technical knowledge.

This is achieved through the development of bespoke and standardised self-service reports, timely response to adhoc analytic and data requests, and provision of expert advice.
The sections work across all four departmental outcomes and utilise a range of different data sources.

The sections are primarily composed of Business Intelligence (BI) analysts, Business Intelligence developers, and Data Scientists.
The Senior BI Analysts assist in leading the work of the sections, perform the more complex analysis tasks, and work closely with BI developers and data scientists to support the realisation of stakeholders' needs.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated person with a strong client focus and a positive attitude who ideally has experience working with data to join the team.
A background in data visualisation or business analysis would be an advantage.
