Full-timeOngoing & Non-Ongoing opportunities available with the possibility of extension.The Fraud Fusion Taskforce and Integrity Capability Division (the Division) has several EL1 vacancies across the Scalable Responses Branch.The Division drives the Agency's integrity response and capability uplift as well as the coordination of the whole-of-government multi-agency Fraud Fusion Taskforce (FFT).Our division is responsible for:Investigating and responding to internal and external fraud against the NDIS which includes undertaking criminal investigations of serious and organised fraud against the NDIS in partnership with Fraud Fusion Taskforce member agencies.Managing the tip-off process and collecting intelligence about integrity concerns to ensure this is acted upon. We develop risk profiles through detection analytics which inform our responses.Scalable responses, targeted at specific integrity vulnerabilities and cohorts, to address known and emerging integrity and fraud matters.Fraud investigations, which will progress to prosecutions for serious cases.Overall governance and management of the multi-agency Fraud Fusion Taskforce (FFT). This includes development of agreed strategic prevention concepts and priorities across FFT agencies and reporting of savings and benefits.The Scalable Responses Branch implements a range of innovative and dynamic responses to risk profiles generated in the Intelligence and Analytics Branch. We use a range of levers including planning, policy, communications, payment integrity and provider-focused actions to close integrity gaps in the NDIS.As part of the application process, candidates will be asked to select their preferred role from the options outlined below:EL1 Payment IntegrityThe Payment Integrity section is responsible for implementing detective and preventative measures to reduce claims and payments errors and improve compliance through performing a combination of manual and automated validation checks in both pre and post-payment.The EL1 Assistant Director Payments Integrity is responsible for actively managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships and where required will represent and negotiate on behalf of the NDIA to advance the NDIA's interests across a range of forums.Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:Providing a professional strategic and operational level of financial, technical and policy expertise and advice across the group.Leading the execution, changes, reviews and resolutions of findings from the Payment Assurance and Claims Integrity Programs, including statistical data sampling methodologies.Leading a team that performs payments assurance and claims integrity testing and developing controls through the application of detective and preventative validation checks and systematic analytics.Ensuring appropriate development, maintenance and ongoing review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), documenting the required testing, validation checks and systematic analysis that are required.EL1 Provider Integrity ResponseThe Provider Integrity Response (PIR) Team is dedicated to ensuring that the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Market and its Providers deliver outcomes and supports that comply with the NDIS Provider Code of Conduct, the NDIS Act, and other relevant regulatory requirements.The PIR team is essential in upholding the integrity of the NDIS by actively monitoring provider activities and responding to any integrity issues that arise. The team enforces appropriate actions, which may include supporting the issuing of penalties, or other corrective measures to ensure compliance and prevent future breaches.Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:Managing complex cases and working on project management across a large and diverse case load.Identifying potential risks associated with provider activities through data analysis and intelligence gathering, developing and implementing strategies that mitigate identified risks, ensuring that providers maintain high standards of service delivery.Reporting on progress and performance of projects and specific cases as well as writing briefs and strategic documents.Developing innovative integrity responses based on a strong understanding of the legislative and regulatory context of NDIS provider markets.Working collaboratively with the division and networks across the NDIA and Fraud Fusion Taskforce partner agencies, implementing optimal integrity interventions.EL1 Liaison and PlanningThe Embedded Integrity section works with internal stakeholders to embed integrity thinking and considerations within strategic change programs.Responsibilities of the EL1 Liaison and Planning role include but are not limited to:Implementing and leading integrity focussed improvement activities that enhance Agency practice, processes and systems.Utilising data, policy, and legislation for managing and resolving escalated issues and complaints arising from participant plans.Leading and managing staff daily, including managing a portfolio of work which supports the quality and integrity of the Scheme.Providing staff and stakeholders with specialist advice and technical expertise.Implementing team strategies and aligning outcomes with the Agency's broader strategic directions and business priorities.EL1 Cohort ResponsesThe Cohorts Integrity team is responsible for contributing to the quality and performance of the broader Fraud Fusion Taskforce program. This includes the utilisation of data, policy and legislation to design and implement Scheme integrity reforms.Responsibilities of the EL1 Cohort Responses lead role include but are not limited to:Leading and managing staff, including managing a portfolio of work which supports the quality and performance of the Fraud Fusion Taskforce program.Utilising data, policy, and legislation, designing and implementing Scheme Integrity reforms.Reporting on progress and performance of Scheme Integrity reform initiatives for the executive leadership.Performing specific project management and coordination of specific reform initiatives.Implementing continuous improvement processes that develop the capability and performance of the Cohort Responses team.Preparing and managing a range of written material including analysis and reporting, post-implementation reviews, briefs, external communications and other corporate documentation.Enough about us, let's talk about youYou're a dedicated professional with a strong foundation in integrity, investigation, and policy analysis.
