EL1 - IT Internal Audit and IAWP Development ManagerFull time

The Network IT in partnership with one of their key government clients is seeking an EL1 IT Internal Audit and IAWP Development Manager.
This position leads the IT Internal Audit and IAWP Development Team in coordinating the development of the IAWP and the delivery of the IT Internal Audit Work Program by the department's internal audit providers.
- 12-month non-ongoing opportunity with full entitlements + 15.4% superannuation.
- Canberra is desirable - other locations will be considered.
- Baseline clearance is desirable or ability to obtain.

Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate the department's internal audit providers through the delivery of the IT IAWP.
This includes:Guiding the auditee through the internal audit process.Negotiating an outcome on sensitive issues between auditor and auditee.Providing quality assurance of audit products, function and providers.Agreeing the required activities to close any recommendations with the auditee.Overseeing the implementation and closure of the recommendations.Coordinate the department's assurance mapping and IAWP development provider to develop a risk-based and targeted IAWP.
This includes:Coordinating the conduct of assurance mapping.Maintaining the assurance universe (6 months light touch, 12 months comprehensive).Development of the IAWP.Compose minutes, briefs, letters, emails and other documentation for the Senior Executive in relation to the Internal Audit function.Contribute to assurance reporting to the Audit and Risk Committee (non-secretarial role) including preparing papers on the Internal Assurance Section's functions.Should this role be of interest please call Jade on for a confidential chat.
