Location: Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney Position Type: Ongoing | Non-ongoing Salary: $113,355 - $136,660 About the role The Assistant Director, End User Support is responsible for leading second-level teams supporting the ACIC's information systems and ICT services, including end-user computing, meeting rooms and unified communications across multiple sites.
The successful candidate will support the Director of Technical Services in providing leadership and strategy to a nationally dispersed team.
Opportunities will be likely for the Assistant Director End User support to support projects and as well as operations supporting agency outcomes.
Our ideal candidate Sound leadership and people management skills, including demonstrated experience managing the day-to-day operations of a multi-disciplinary geographically dispersed IT support team.
Proven ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders including other support teams, clients, colleagues and suppliers.
Demonstrated proficiency to coordinate the investigation and resolution of major incidents and the preparation of post-incident reports.
Well-developed technical skills relevant to the support and maintenance of end user services including virtual desktop solutions, mobile devices, end user software, network printers, and unified communications.
Strong verbal and written communication skills Eligibility Citizenship – To be eligible for employment with the ACIC, applicants must be an Australian citizen.
Security Clearance - The Australian community expects ACIC employees to maintain the highest levels of security and integrity.
Successful applicants will be required to obtain and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 security clearance.
