Your primary focus will be providing a safe, seamless, and high-quality service for both domestic and international travelers.
You will ensure that trolleys are clean and readily available, contributing to an enhanced customer experience as passengers navigate the terminals.The airport environment is dynamic and team-oriented, with a strong emphasis on safety.
Work hours are variable to align with airline schedules, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.Your activitiesCollect and distribute trolleys throughout the terminal to maintain an adequate supply in designated areas.Inspect trolleys for cleanliness and functionality, reporting any damages or maintenance needs.Respond promptly to customer inquiries and assist passengers with locating and using trolleys.Monitor and manage the flow of trolleys to ensure high availability during peak times.Collaborate with team members to manage trolley distribution efficiently across multiple airport zones.Adhere to safety protocols and report any incidents or hazards to supervisors.Maintain clear communication with other airport staff to coordinate tasks and updates.Assist in maintaining the general cleanliness of trolley storage areas and workstations.Operate equipment safely, such as trolley collection vehicles, if authorized.Support other operational activities as needed to contribute to a seamless passenger experience.Your profileExperience working in a fast-paced customer service aviation environment.Proven experience in aviation roles demonstrating leadership qualities.Exceptional customer service, communication, and conflict resolution skills.Ability to effectively coach and provide constructive feedback to team members.Capability to work independently with minimal supervision, showcasing initiative and motivation.Strong administrative, planning, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, including experience with rostering and cost management.Excellent time management and task delegation skills.Knowledge of regulatory frameworks, safety systems, emergency response procedures, and airport operations (desirable).Understanding of aviation safety and workplace health and safety policies, practices, and principles (desirable).Possession of a valid driver's license (essential).Flexibility and availability to work shifts.Strong organizational skills with effective time management.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a team.Eligibility to obtain airport security clearance and meet pre-employment requirements.What we offerPermanent Part Time opportunity available averaging 20-30 hours per weekInitial onboarding and paid training.Uniforms and free onsite parking provided.Flexible rostering system.Career progression and development opportunities.At Swissport, we believe in diversity, equal opportunity, and the power of our values to drive our success.
