You will provide clinical operational direction for the unit to ensure efficient and effective management by coordinating the delivery of nursing care that is evidence based. With the assistance and direction of the Nurse Unit Manager, you will be accountable and responsible for the effective daily management of human, financial and material resources.Northpark Private Hospital is a leading healthcare facility that specializes in acute surgical, medical, maternity and mental health services.Located in the rapidly developing Northern suburbs of Melbourne, Northpark and La Trobe Private are very easily accessed via the Western Ring Road, Eastern Freeway and also by public transport.The hospital currently has 145 beds, including a 4 bed HDU and 5 theatres.Our planned expansion will include increase in Mental health beds and growth of 4 theatres and 34 beds with additional consulting suites as well at our LaTrobe site.Selection Criteria: Current Registration with AHPRAWorking with Children checkExperience in the Paediatric and/or Psychiatric NursingPrevious leadership experience (highly desirable)Sound clinical knowledgeCompliance with ACQSHC National standardsExemplary interpersonal and communication skillsPositive role modelling behavioursExcellent customer service focus, time management and prioritisationAbility to manage a dynamic and changing environment Applications close: lst May 2024 To Apply: Please click the 'Apply' button to be taken to our online application process.
