About the role A great opportunity has arisen in our Kings Meadows Frame & Truss business for an Timber Structures Estimator/Designer, reporting to Scott our experienced Frame & Truss Manager.. The right candidate can look forward to a competitive salary which will be negotiated based on experience.  What we can offer you A professional environment working in a team committed to the customer Professional learning and development opportunities to help you build a career A competitive remuneration package What you will be doing Receiving plans both directly and indirectly from clients Design residential & commercial roof truss, wall frame and floor systems and produce layouts with the relevant software Ensure work complies with relevant standards and Codes of Practice. Prepare & develop frame and truss designs to the point of manufacture Prepare project quotes for clients in line with site operating procedures Liaise with clients, architects, engineers and contractors during all stages of planning and construction Resolve any discrepancies, changes and corrections as required Capitalize sales by maximizing Add on Sales opportunities Where required, provide site inspections relating directly to our supply of frames, truss and materials to clients What you will bring to the role  Well-developed verbal and written communication skills Ability to use initiative Attention to detail Ability to work in a fast paced environment and be able to juggle a number of priorities Have an understanding of and be able to read and interpret architectural/ engineering plans If this sounds like the role for you, apply now!
