Discovery Early Learning Centres is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our dedicated team. The Assistant Project Manager will play a crucial role in supporting project management efforts across various initiatives within our organization. You will collaborate closely with project managers to ensure that all phases of projects are executed smoothly and efficiently. This includes assisting in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects to meet our timeline and budgetary goals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including educators, parents, and community partners. Responsibilities

Assist project managers in the planning and execution of various educational programs and initiatives. Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, and schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks. Facilitate communication between team members and stakeholders, providing updates on project progress. Support the development of project documentation, including project plans, reports, and presentations. Conduct research and analysis to inform project decisions and strategies. Assist in budgeting and tracking project expenditures to align with financial goals. Participate in project meetings, taking minutes and documenting action items for follow-up.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Education, or a related field. Proven experience in project management or coordination, preferably in an educational setting. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build positive relationships with stakeholders.
