Duties Actively promote a work environment that demonstrates respect and interest in diversity and the wellbeing of individuals. Developing and implementing the quality framework that will support the continuous improvement of operations. Engaging with Registered Training Organisations to support them to understand and work effectively within the system and build their overall capability. Proactively manage programs to ensure the successful delivery of objectives and outcomes consistent with legislative requirements. Oversee purchasing from and governance of the public provider to support high-quality vocational education and training services and outcomes. Develop appropriate purchasing policy, program, funding and contractual frameworks to support and guide the Government's investment in training and workforce development. Provide credible, expert and strategic advice on complex matters relating to workforce development and training programs, policies and legislation to the General Manager, Deputy Secretary, Secretary and intergovernmental stakeholders. Providing the support for Boards and Committees to ensure their effective operation and overseeing operational policy for standalone matters and requests for information from stakeholders. Manage significant stakeholder interactions including funding and contract management negotiations.
