Direct Care Worker

As part of our Direct Care team, you will provide in-home and community care to people who are in receipt of Aged Care Home Care Packages or people participating in the National Disability Insurance Scheme. You will assist these individuals by providing domestic assistance, personal care, social support, respite, overnight care, and companionship.

You can work anywhere in Tasmania. You must have a Working With Vulnerable People (NDIS endorsement) card, a National Police Check, and a current first aid certificate. Holding a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent will allow you to do a larger variety of work and be paid at a higher rate. You will also need your own car to travel between clients' homes. If you need support to obtain any of these mandatory requirements, we can help!
