Digital MotoGP ReporterLocation: ArtarmonThe Digital MotoGP reporter/producer will be responsible for brilliant storytelling across the relevant digital and social platforms. The successful candidate will write, edit, report on live events and work closely with other departments to help drive awareness of priority events, shows and athletes. The role may also involve helping to co-ordinate the use of provided video content on social media channels.In this casual role you will produce and edit content for and relevant social platforms, including Fox Motorsport, with the ultimate goal of increasing user engagement, audience size and awareness of MotoGP. Be across all the key issues and events in MotoGP to ensure appropriate coverage of breaking news, live events, analysis and reaction. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders - building relationships with production staff, promoters and athletes - to maximise content opportunities and break news. Promote content on site and via social media channels, using engaging headlines, story sells, images and video, and apply best practices to convert to positive business outcomes Take accountability for, and respond to, digital metrics to gain a better understanding of ever-changing user trends and deliver what our audience wants Skills and Experiences We're Looking For You have at least 3 years reporting at a digital sports news network, or relevant similar experience You ideally, but not essentially, have a detailed knowledge of, and a strong passion for, MotoGP You have the ability and experience to know what storylines cut through and how to 'sell' to a wide audience You have extensive experience leveraging social media to tell stories and drive traffic You can work efficiently and effectively within a fast-paced team environment, multi-task at a high level and work closely and respectfully with multiple stakeholders You have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills You are reliable, flexible, proactive and able to work weekends and evenings when required around big events About Us Australia's original cable TV innovator has evolved into a technology-led streaming powerhouse that's transforming how Australians watch the world around them and connect with one another.
