The team's mission is to challenge and transform the systems, behaviours, and attitudes that contribute to poverty, inequality, and exclusion. Through partnership with community organisations, government, and stakeholders they strive to create lasting social change and improve the well-being of all Tasmanians.
In collaboration with WorkVentures, TasCOSS is proud to launch a transformative 2-year digital uplift program. This initiative will empower up to 1,000 Tasmanian primary and high school students, providing the tools they need to fully engage in digital learning and improve educational outcomes.
The RoleThis dynamic and motivated Digital Inclusion Partnerships Lead will drive the success of the Tasmanian Schools Project. In this role, you will engage and recruit local non-profit organisations (NFPs) as Digital Inclusion Project Partners, enabling low-income families to access vital technology resources. Your work will directly contribute to closing the digital divide and ensuring that Tasmanian children have the necessary support to thrive in their education.
Key ResponsibilitiesPartner Engagement:Leverage the TasCOSS network to identify and recruit local NFPs to join the program.Facilitate introductions, sign MOUs, and secure commitments from partners.Program Coordination:Collaborate with NFPs at all levels to register 1,000 families for the program.Serve as the primary contact for NFP partners, providing updates and gathering feedback.Work closely with WorkVentures to ensure smooth delivery of technology bundles.Support and Communication:Maintain regular communication with NFPs, keeping them informed of project progress.Address any challenges and ensure the successful implementation of the program.Share insights and feedback from partners to improve the project continually.About YouYou will have proven experience in stakeholder engagement, partnerships, or business development, ideally in the non-profit or community sector.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet project goals.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.Passionate about improving educational outcomes and promoting digital literacy for disadvantaged communities.Why Join Us?Be part of a groundbreaking initiative that supports Tasmanian children and their education.Collaborate with passionate professionals dedicated to making a positive social impact.Make a real difference in reducing digital exclusion in Tasmania.If you are passionate about driving social change and believe in the power of digital inclusion, we'd love to hear from you!
