Deputy Project HSSE Manager page is loadedDeputy Project HSSE ManagerApply locations Perth, Western Australia time type Full time posted on Posted 4 Days Ago job requisition id JR108049We are looking for an experienced Deputy HSSE Manager to join our new Dampier Bulk Handling Facility (DBHF) project for a FIFO position to Karratha.DBHF is a wharf structure to be built to support the export of urea in bulk quantities through the Port of Dampier.
The project will require the demolition and removal of decommissioned marine structures, the construction of a new land-backed wharf and land redevelopment.The position is on a 20:8 rotation to site in Karratha.We require an experienced Senior HSSE Advisor with a background in large construction, Civil or Wharf projects to join our team.Your focus will include:Development, implementation and maintenance of Project HSE improvement plans consistent with, and incorporating Project Strategy.Implementing the culture to achieving Zero Harm Health, Safety and Environment.Presenting HSE strategies and plans, results and incident reviews.Delivery of HSE results from project-wide audit program and provide reports and reviews on incident and HSE performance.Ensuring behaviors required, training and engagement in, and the ongoing coaching and accountability support for leaders in achieving the zero-harm culture.What you will bring to the team:Extensive experience working on major EPC or EPCM projects within the infrastructure space, preferably with exposure to Nearshore Marine, Wharf and Jetty projects.Tertiary qualifications in OHS or related discipline.Proven track record in the delivery of safety initiatives.Subcontractor management experience.High level of reporting and analytical experience.Experience in the construction, commissioning and operation of onshore / near shore marine or similar projects.High level of communication and interpersonal skills.Our benefits:We have created an environment that brings out the best in our people.
