This role would be a great opportunity for an established and passionate Replenishment /Allocation Analyst with aspirations to become a seasoned Demand Planner.Be responsible for driving best practice replenishment in line with the Merchandise strategy and Support the Merchandise team through the Demand Planning function. Provide specialist advice to the business and drive improved forecast accuracy and product in-stocks for your TPC.About the role:Support the Demand Planner in running the demand forecasting for all merchandise in your TPCWork with Merchandise and Demand planners to Identify key opportunities in replenishment managementMonitor and maintain forecast data information, making adjustments as required ensuring the optimisation of sales and system capabilitiesBuild collaborative partnerships and meet regularly with key stakeholders to review performance, identify issues and incorporate promotional events into forecastingPatriciate and provide in-sight into in key seasonal strategy and prior season reviewsLead, coach and mentor RAs in conjunction with the Demand PlannerSupport in RA functions when neededMeasure and action forecast accuracy and supplier delivery performanceDefine forecast analysis and identify new items applicable to the forecastable replenishment methodAnalyse the performance of products making recommendations and developing reporting measures to assist suppliers and merchandise teams to identify opportunities or issues within rangesReview and manage replenished items based on seasonal sales patterns to maximise sales and profit About you:Detailed understanding of the replenishment process in a retail environment and exceptional analytical skillsTertiary education in a relevant degree such as business/commerce is advantageous but not essentialIntermediate to advanced skills in Retek/RDF and ExcelIntermediate skills in forecastingStrong negotiation and influencing skills to enable effective decisions to be made in relation to the replenishment of merchandiseExcellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communicationStrong data accuracy skills and attention to detail will be critical to success in this roleGood understanding of supply chain processes, including lead times, supplier requirements and overseas processExcellent time management skills with the ability to work independentlyBenefits to you:A great working environment and flexible working optionsGenerous discounts on all Myer productsInvitations to attend Myer's Sample SalesA great sense of job satisfaction for your dedication and work ethicCareer succession planning and opportunities for growth & developmentTo register your interest, please click on the "Apply" button below.
