It's about making everyday food better for everyone.We are a leading global food company and the custodian of a host of iconic Kiwi brands like Meadow Fresh, Puhoi Valley, Molenberg, Natures Fresh and Freya's that generations of New Zealanders have grown up with and put in their supermarket trolleys every week.We are looking for an Export Demand & Supply Planner to play a pivotal role in the planning of finished goods and raw materials to support our local manufacturing of Dairy products destined for export markets primarily in Southeast Asia, utilizing the networks of our parent company, Wilmar International.You will take ownership of the coordination of business functions to set up the plan to meet customer expectations from forecasting their requirements through to execution.
You will be partnering with sales, manufacturing, and customer service to ensure the smooth running of the planning process.Your responsibilities will include:Coordinating the demand and supply plans with customers, manufacturing, and suppliersManaging supply risk and constraints and problem solving issues such as short supply or dated stockEnsuring internal/external stakeholders receive correct demand data monthly and communicating insights and trends from demand review to suppliersProviding full reporting including on supplier performance, category DIFOT, vendor DIFOT, and OOS dailyReviewing inventory levels weekly and ensuring surplus stock is sold through quickly by the businessAbout youIn order to make this role a success, we are looking for someone with an understanding and background in Supply Chain and Planning, preferably with experience in Dairy exports.Other key skills or experiences we are looking for in your application include:Prior experience in a planning role with a strength for negotiation and purchasingCPIM / NZPICS qualifications are preferred but not essentialExperience of using SAP and SAP IBP, and advanced Excel skillsA working knowledge of the Dairy (and export) industries would be extremely beneficialMandarin speaking would be beneficial but not essentialWhat we offerYou will be joining a driven team of professionals who genuinely enjoy working together in a highly collaborative and flexible work environment.
