Data Analyst Level 2Data Analyst As a Data Analyst, you will work with Great Southern Bank data to provide insights, reporting and visualisations to meet business needs. You will take the lead on specific tasks, understanding, querying and profiling data and contributing to the delivery of key Enterprise Data initiatives. Working with stakeholders, you will understand the problems the business is trying to solve and help identify opportunities to improve the business oues by rmending data solutions. We are open to candidates based in Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne. You will have the flexibility to work from home two days per week and will be required in our CBD office for three days per week. Your responsibilities • Leverage Great Southern Bank data to deliver data solutions and oues in support of Enterprise Data initiatives • Help design and build engaging visualisations so the business can make informed, data driven decisions • Pro-actively investigate and apply new techniques to solveplex data problems • Conduct analysis or build data products to help your stakeholders solve problems through data • Provide requirements and findings to data engineers to help map, validate, and document data transformation between data layers, and perform user acceptance testing on the data products • Identify, capture and report data gaps, quality issues and potential issues that require further exploration About you: • A detailed and analytical mindset with experience working with data and data systems to solve problems • Knowledge of SQL or other relevant programming language ( R, SAS, Python, etc) to understand and analyse data • Understanding of data projects in a delivery or testing capacity • Previous experience working on technology systems or projects that built data systems and processes • Exposure presentingplex information simply and directly to both Business and Technical Stakeholders • Experience with visualisation methods and tools ( Power BI/ Tableau) A little bit about us...
