Salary: $95 - $105K + super (negotiable)

The Company Our client is a successful and well-established Asian food distribution company based in Western Sydney with over 3,000 product types from over 45 brands.
They are the leading national company with a presence over the past 30+ years.
The Role You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) guidelines within a multi-site warehousing/distribution/blue collar workplace environment.
You will play a crucial role in promoting a safe working environment, conducting risk assessments, health and wellbeing, injury prevention, work rehabilitation, and HR support.
Responsibilities Identify and assess hazards, risks, and control measures for a specific operation or process.
Account for all aspects of health, safety, wellbeing, workers compensation, and rehabilitation.
Conduct ongoing review of operations and processes to identify potential hazards, risks, and control measures that should be implemented to reduce these risks, including all costs involved in implementing such measures.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and initiatives, making recommendations for improvements.
Provide WHS training.

Skills & Experience 3+ years WHS experience in a similar role within a warehousing/distribution/blue collar workplace environment.
In-depth knowledge of legislation (e.g.
OSHA/EPA) and procedures.
Accredited qualifications in WHS.
Experience with writing reports and policies for health and safety.
Ability to communicate in both Chinese and English.
