Aurizon's Coal business has a permanent full-time vacancy for a Crew Operations & Performance Analyst.
This role will be responsible for supporting the achievement of relevant enterprise commercial and transformation objectives by providing industry-leading logistics data analytics support.
About the roleSupport the identification, planning, and execution of performance improvement activities, offering assistance to management by applying effective analytical strategies, including assessing the risks and impacts of various solutions.Assist in the implementation of analytical methodology transformation activities, including collaborating with stakeholders, developing process frameworks, and ensuring all relevant documentation, models, and systems are updated.Foster and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders in a proactive, solution-focused manner.Ensure compliance with all Enterprise Agreements/relevant legislative/statutory obligations and enterprise policies, codes, values, standards, and procedures, as required.Improve business approach to resource management, including improved utilisation, allocation, and forecasting accuracy.Opportunity to engage with stakeholders to enhance our training capabilities with operational stakeholders.About youDegree qualification with a Business or data analytics (preferable).Solid understanding of transport and logistics data, including supply chain delivery performance metrics.Strong understanding of supply chain delivery performance principles.Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to influence, collaborate, and engage effectively.Advanced understanding of statistics and strong research, problem-solving, and analytical skills.Strong data collection, organisation, analysis, interpretation, and presentation skills.Strong systems experience and understanding of business intelligence tools.Strong project management skills to work successfully and implement strategic initiatives that deliver sustainable results.High level of skill working both autonomously and collaboratively in a team.What we offer you:At Aurizon, we support the development and growth of our employees.
