The Role As an experienced Copywriter focusing primarily on creating marketing content, you will report to the Digital Design Team Lead.
Create and maintain external-facing copy across all digital and print materials including brochures, presentations, adverts, press releases and blogs.Schedule, write and maintain social media posts.Write and maintain copy on the company website.Help coordinate marketing materials required for events and expositions.Point of contact for external media agencies.Collaborate with internal Design, Engineering and Sales teams.Maintain version controls to ensure consistency, compliance, and accuracy of materials.Maintain consistent branding and tone of voice across all collateral.Skills and Experience 2+ years proven experience copy or content writing in Defence (essential) and either Technology or Engineering field.Bachelor's degree in writing, communication, or related field, or equivalent practical experience especially in STEM sector.Exceptional written and communication skills.Experience in SEO optimisation (preferred).Experience with Mailchimp, Squarespace and Hootsuite (a plus).Experience with Adobe InDesign (a plus).Familiarity writing in American English (a plus).The ability to absorb highly technical details and communicate these details in a way that can be easily understood.Exceptional attention to detail.Strong time management skills with the ability to quickly respond to ad-hoc requests whilst maintaining high-quality standards.Benefits New, central office close to transport links.Culture of collaboration and exploration.Growth opportunity.Multi-disciplined team environment.Free coffee, food, phone costs.N.B.
