Due to an uplift in our operation, we currently have a casual opportunity for a Cook to join our dedicated Medirest Living team at the University of Canberra Hospital.

THE POSITION Prepare, cook and serve good quality food for patients and clients Ensure that all tasks associated with food production are performed with total compliance Actively maintain a complete awareness and desire for nutrition and healthy eating as well as allergens and dietary requirements Ensure all OH&S compliance is achieved, and wastage is kept to a minimum Demonstrate adaptability by taking on various tasks and responsibilities as needed THE PERSON Previous cooking experience Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive outlook and professional manner Team player and able to work autonomously Flexible approach and attitude with good communication skills Must be able to meet the serology clearances (or willing to obtain required vaccinations) for this site Possess a National Police Clearance and Working With Vulnerable People Check (or be willing to obtain) THE BENEFITS Training provided Work within a team who enjoy providing excellent service Opportunities for internal transfer and promotion Immediate access to 100+ retail discounts No two days the same It's not just a job, you get to play a part in making a difference to those who need it most Contact: ****** or 1300TALENT
