About the role
Holistic Nursing Solutions is seeking an experienced Continence Advisor to join our dedicated community nursing team in Burleigh Heads, Queensland.
As a Continence Advisor, you will coordinate our centralised continence services, ensuring that assessments and care are delivered on time, to target and to a high standard across the team.
You will play a crucial role in providing specialist care and education to support individuals with bladder and bowel health concerns.

What you'll be doing Coordinate our centralised continence servicesConduct regular weekly comprehensive continence assessments (face to face and via telehealth)Provide expert advice, education and training to clients, their families and carers on managing bladder and bowel conditionsPeer review the continence assessments and reports of the nursing team, providing guidance and support as neededIdentify opportunities to upskill team members and deliver training as neededContribute to the continuous improvement of continence care services through improved processes and systemsWhat we're looking for Registered Nurse (RN) or Clinical Nurse (CN) with a postgraduate qualification in continence management or a related fieldMinimum 3 years' experience in continence care or in a similar specialist nursing roleDemonstrated expertise in conducting comprehensive continence assessments and developing excellent tailored care plansExcellent written skills with the ability to regularly peer review reports to provide constructive support and guidanceExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively educate and support clients, families and healthcare teamsStrong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to identify and manage complex continence-related issuesCommitment to staying up-to-date with the latest evidence-based continence care practices and technologiesStrong administration and organisation skills, with ability to drive continuous improvementWhat we offer
