Content Designer - Aps 5 Or Aps 6

Are you a talented Content Designer who is passionate about creating user-centred content?Exciting opportunity for an APS 5 or 6 Content Designer to join the friendly and supportive intranet team within a highly regarded Federal Government Department. You will coordinate, design, write and publish organisation-wide messages on the department's intranet platforms.This is initially a 6 month non-ongoing contract, or S26 temp transfer, with the potential for extension or to apply for permanency down the track. This role is open to candidates nationally, with flexible working arrangements considered on a case-by-case basis. Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain a baseline clearance Responsibilities:Support clients in the timely updating of intranet content, using SharePoint publishing skillsWork collaboratively with SMEs to develop content in line with user needsManage end-to-end workflow to update old content and create new contentRefresh, develop and publish new content that meets digital best practice, accessibility and readability and content management standardsAdvocate for user needs to internal stakeholders, drawing on data-driven insightsUse a range of technologies to manage your work: Azure DevOps, readability tool, Sharepoint Online and Service NowOther duties as required to assist the teamIn addition to a demonstrated passion for creating user-centred content, the successful candidate will demonstrate the following Skills and Capabilities:Demonstrated website content development and publishing skills using SharePointAbility to manage end-to-end workflow to update old content and create new contentStrong client liaison skills, and ability to work collaboratively with SMEsUnderstanding of web usability, readability and accessibility requirementsStrong written and verbal communication skillsConceptual and analytical skills, including data interpretationRelevant tertiary and/or industry qualifications beneficialAustralian citizenship and the ability to obtain a baseline clearance essentialIf you're seeking an opportunity to apply your skills within a collaborative and supportive team apply now!Why apply with Hudson?Wondering which agency to contact for your next role?
