We seek a qualified environmental practitioner for this immediate contract role for up to a twelve month period.
Based in Brisbane, with flexible work conditions, this role presents a unique opportunity to bring your environmental assessment and remediation skills to a high profile municipal project environment. Working closely with a team of scientists, engineers and project managers, your position will focus on the provision of expert advice to a range of contaminated land and closed landfill sites. You will be involved in field assessments, sampling and monitoring across soil, groundwater, surface water and leachate impacts.
Key to your ability to contribute in this position will be not only your technical skills and knowledge, but also high-level communication, stakeholder management and client-facing abilities. A background in either consulting or a comparable government capacity would be advantageous. Tertiary qualifications in either environmental science or engineering are mandatory.
