Responsibilities As an Architectural Draftsperson ,you will be responsible for concept design and development, management of the architectural plans andproject drawings. Other duties will include;
Assisting and collaborating with Construction Managers, Architects and Surveyors in planning and organisation Interpreting plans, and ensuring all plans are meeting regulations and codes of practice Familiarisation with Western Australia Building Standards as well as local regulations specific to Perth or Western Australia Preparing preliminary sketches, working drawings and specifications. Including the use of creating technical drawings online (CAD software) Preparing, editing and revising plans, maps, charts and drawings Coordinating works programs Conducting site visits when required to gather measurements and observe the environment to produce more accurate designs and ensuring they comply with standards and regulations Collecting data using surveying instruments and photogrammetric equipment Maintaining excellent documentation management and upkeep, including drawings, reports and specifications Building rapport with Clients and ensuring they stay informed during the process from start to finish Qualifications and Experience We arelooking for someone who has great time management skills and the ability toeffectively manage project drawings and deadlines. The successful candidatemust have a minimum of 1 years' experience, preferably has past experience indesign of commercial buildings, with relevant tertiary or trade qualifications.
