Queensland Corrective Services (Organisation site)Assessment Intelligence Support; Professional Standards and Governance Command; Workforce Culture Integrity and Capability; BrisbaneAs the Complaints Coordinator, you will play a critical administrative support role to a team of Assessors.You will:Manage the intake and triage of incoming complaints through a centralised electronic mailbox and ensure that all relevant information is gathered to support the assessment process.Engage with complainants and notifiers to gather information required for the assessment in a person centred, trauma informed and culturally sensitive way.Support the Assessment Unit in relation to their information sharing, performance reporting and integrity checking responsibilities.The Complaints Coordinator plays an integral role within the Assessment Unit to provide efficient administration support in a high-volume and complex environment.To be successful in this role you will have:Demonstrated high level administration skills, including ability to use electronic management systems, databases, spreadsheets and other data management systems to support the work of the Ethical Standards and the Assessment Unit.Ability to analyse information, identify and gather evidence such as records, data and video footage and prepare for assessment purposes.Time management and organisational skills, including the ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks in a time critical environment.Demonstrated interpersonal and written communication skills, including ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders of all levels, internal to the Command and across QCS.High levels of ethics, integrity and understanding of the importance of maintaining privacy and confidentiality of sensitive matters managed by Ethical Standards.Understanding of the requirements under the Code of Conduct and complaints management frameworks and the governing legislation such as the Crime and Corruption Act 2001 and the Public Interest Disclosure Act 2010.Fundamental understanding of systems, and ability to proactively identify improvements and work flexibly to implement changes to support continuous improvement.An ability to rapidly acquire an understanding of the QCS operating environment and to use QCS data management systems relevant to the work of Ethical Standards.Applications to remain current for 12 months.Further informationWe are committed to building inclusive cultures in the Queensland public sector that respect and promote human rights and diversity.#J-18808-Ljbffr
