Community Safety Officer

I am recruiting for a Local Law Officer within the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne Your new company Our clients are Councils located in the East suburbs of Melbourne who are continuously seeking temps to support their team in the Local Laws Department. They are after candidates who are passionate in shaping the future of their city and the people who are part of it, as well as encourage their employees to grow and develop to their best potential. Your new role You will be an experienced Local Laws Officer and your duties on a daily basis will include: Providing quality information, assistance and advice to the public relating to municipal Law Report instances of overhanging vegetation, hard rubbish, abandoned vehicles and any other public complaints Issuing infringements or conduct follow-ups upon requests that are processed by the public Undertake a proactive approach to compliance by identifying any areas of improvement and actively communicating with the public on daily patrols And potential animal management or litter enforcement duties if required What you'll need to succeed You will have excellent communication and organisation skills as well as; Experience working as a Local Laws and Animal Management Passion for contributing to the community Valid police check and a clean drivers' licence What you'll get in return This is an exciting opportunity for Local Laws Officers looking to gain further experience while working in a supportive and welcoming environment.
