This is a pivotal role with a high level of exposure to all areas of our company where you can have a real impact on commercial decisions and outcomes. Working in a fast-moving retail environment, you will be working with large volumes of data from our retail, head office and distribution centre and be able to drive commercial decisions while being involved in exciting projects. What Your Day Will Look Like;Reporting to the Commercial Manager you will be working closely with your colleagues within the Commercial team to assist in budgeting, reporting and decision support across the MFG business. .Your duties will include; Providing meaningful, actionable analysis and insights to the organisation and its stakeholders to drive commercial decision making.Assist in the preparation of robust budgets and forecasts and associated plans of action.Deliver reporting that drives performance focus and accountability.Build productive stakeholder relationships. What Will You Bring To This Role? 3-5 years in an accounting, FP&A, or commercial finance roleExperience in a complex, fast paced business environment. Retail/FMCG industry experience preferred, but not essentialAdvanced Excel capability including complex modelling, reporting, and preferably query building.Proven experience as an effective communicator with non-financial stakeholdersPrior experience with business intelligence tools such as PowerBI and visual dashboardsStrong analytical and problem solving skillsMeticulous attention to detail and accuracy in financial reportingProven experience in using large and complex data sets to transform them into relevant, insightful, and accessible insightsExceptional ability to manage multiple projects and able to multi-task while meeting deadlinesStrong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work collaboratively with and influence diverse groups of people.Bachelor of Commerce/Accounting is preferred however Bachelor of Science/Economics will also be accepted; and CA/CPA qualified (Part Qualified accepted) You're not expected to have % of these skills.
